Talisman Brooch with Meteorite
This piece is one of a series of five Talisman Brooches that were created for the exhibit "The Art of Jewelry" which showcased the work of the Spokane Jewellers Guild. The brooch is 2 1/2 inches tall and is fabricated from sterling silver, and 22K gold overlay. The prong set meteorite is a pieces of the Henbury Meteor which was found it Australia in 1931. The piece has a liver of sulphur patina.
